In a Friday morning television interview on NBC's "Today" show Alaska Governor Sarah Palin called on the public to rise up in opposition over David Letterman's "degrading" jokes about her daughter this week.
Letterman's explanation that he was referring to her 18-year-old daughter, Bristol, instead of her 14-year-old daughter, Willow, who accompanied her recently to New York, was met with derision by the governor. She called the remarks a "very convenient excuse"

Sarah Palin Crawls Up David Letterman's Ass

Sarah Palin lambasted late-night comedian David Letterman Wednesday for "sexually perverted comments" about one of her teenage daughters - and rebuffed his moves to make nice.
The funnyman joked Monday of Palin's recent New York visit that "...during the seventh inning, her daughter was knocked up by Alex Rodriguez."
Palin was incensed.
"Laughter incited by sexually perverted comments made by a 62-year-old male celebrity aimed at a 14-year-old girl is ... disgusting," the obviously confused, humorless and mentally challenged Alaska governor said in a statement. Palin is the disgusting one...spinning the truth and manipulating the thoughts of the throngs of idiots that support her.
Letterman was referring to 18-year-old Bristol Palin, Sarah's eldest daughter who thwarted the teachings of her church, engaged in underage sex, was embroiled in a Republican presidential campaign coverup, rebuked the father of her child, became a poster child against abstinence then changed her mind and recently gave birth to a son.
Sounds like fair game to us...

Bristol Palin defied her mother Sarah, becoming an unwed teenage mother and telling the world that abstinence was not 'realistic'. But it seems she's changed her mind.
Palin, the 18-year old daughter of Sarah Palin, the governor of Alaska and former vice presidential candidate, walked the red carpet in midtown Manhattan with Heroes star Hayden Panettiere to declare that abstinence is the only '100 per cent' way to avoid pregnancy. Some might observe that's a statement of the obvious.
Nevertheless the remarks from America's most famous single teen mother were welcomed by Panettiere at the town hall-style meeting organised by The Candie's Foundation, which works to reduce teen pregnancy.
Panettiere herself dodged the question on abstinence.

Levi Johnston is in big trouble at the Sarah Palin household.
After talking about sex on "The Tyra Banks Show," Johnston – the 18-year-old father of Bristol Palin's baby – was hit with a blistering response from Bristol's mother, Alaska Governor Sarah Palin.
In the show airing April 6, Johnston tells Tyra Banks that he believes Sarah Palin knew he and Bristol, 18, were having sex when they lived under her roof. "I'm pretty sure she probably knew. Moms are pretty smart," Johnston says.

And from the They Said It Wouldn’t Last File: Bristol Palin, the 18-year-old daughter of former GOP veep washout Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, has broken off her engagement to Levi Johnston, the father of her 2 month-old son.
Isn’t this the same Bristol Palin who told Fox News Channel’s Greta Van Susteren last month that her fiancee was a hands-on dad to their son, Tripp, and they hoped to marry after finishing their education?
Levi’s sis Mercede Johnston said that the couple actually split up more than a month ago. Bristol doesn’t attend school and rarely lets Levi see the baby.

Advice from a Promiscuous Palin

In 2006, as a gubernatorial candidate, Sarah Palin filled out a questionnaire emphasizing her support for abstinence education. She wrote that "the explicit sex-ed programs will not find my support." Alaska does not require sex ed to be taught in schools; Anchorage schools teach "Abstinence Plus," which emphasizes abstaining from sex.
Palin's views came under fire when it was revealed that her then-17-year-old daughter Bristol was pregnant. In her first public interview, Bristol told Fox News' chief Palin cheerleader Greta Van Susteren that abstinence is "not realistic at all".

Bristols Baby Brings Big Bucks

Bristol Palin, the 18-year-old daughter of former Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin, gave birth on Saturday to a healthy 7 lb., 7 oz., baby boy in Palmer, Alaska. The baby's name is Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston and he was born at 5:30 a.m.
Bristol Palin is currently residing in Wasilla and completing her high-school diploma through correspondence courses.

Bidding for the baby photos began at $100,000. People magazine won out in the end, but In Touch was the only other weekly to make serious bids.
The price didn't soar immediately, but the drug-related arrest of (baby daddy) Levi Johnston's mother, however, caused the price tag for the photos to go up.
As for how much teen parents Bristol and Levi made from the deal — most estimates hover around the $300,000 range.
