Phantom Kylie

It seems Kylie Minogue is leaving no stone unturned in her search for costume inspiration.
The singer took to the stage last night resembling the Phantom of the Opera as she performed at an MTV event in Madrid, Spain.
The mask she wore - a suitably Kylie touch - was a cutaway, diamante affair making it suitably glitzy for the pop princess.
She completed the look with a Jean Paul Gautier-designed black jumpsuit with a plunging neckline, fishnet stockings, thigh-high black boots and lashings of red lipstick.

Eminem : Best Butt of Joke Performance

Eminem was accused of suffering an immediate sense of humor failure when he stormed out of the MTV Awards after falling victim to Sacha Baron Cohen's flamboyant new alter ego, Brüno.
But it turns out it was just a virtuoso performance in appalled indignation.
MTV writer Scott Aukerman today revealed the stunt, which saw the bare-bottomed comedian descend on Slim Shady's lap, was in fact a well-rehearsed sketch.
He said: 'Yes, the Brüno/Eminem incident was staged. That's all anyone wants to talk about, so let's get it out of the way. They rehearsed it at dress and yes, it went as far as it did on the live show then.'

Eminem's Face Meets Brüno's Ass

Furious Eminem stormed out of the MTV Movie Awards after finding serial prankster Sacha Baron Cohen's bare buttocks just inches from his face.
The rapper was left fuming when Cohen - as his flamboyant fashionista alter-ego Brüno - descended from above dressed as an angel in a thong and landed headfirst right in his lap.
He looked disgusted by the surprise stunt but sat powerless with Cohen on top of him before his bodyguards came to his aid.
It was unclear if the incident - which was included in the show's rehearsals without the rapper present - was just a well-scripted stunt.

Lego Rock Band for Xmas 2009

LEGO Rock Band is set to ROCK this Holiday season on any console with a pulse -- PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and DS -- the game is a joint effort by TT Games, LEGO, MTV and Harmonix, the original creator of 'Rock Band.' Unsurprisingly, the games will make use of all the 'Rock Band' peripherals currently cluttering a host of homes around the world.
In addition to letting players customize their LEGO rockers and road crew, the game is said to be rather "family friendly." At present, Blur's "Song 2," Carl Douglas's "Kung Fu Fighting," Europe's "The Final Countdown," Good Charlotte's "Boys and Girls," and Pink's "So What" have all been confirmed for the game, which should give you a pretty good idea of what to expect from the final version (i.e. kid-friendly).

MTV's Revolving Door of Whores

After two seasons of MTV's runaway smash hit "Shot at Love," openly bisexual Tila Tequila has announced she's no longer interested in seeking a relationship through the music channel's reality show competition. The Internet sensation is ready to settle down with Courtenay Semel, daughter of Yahoo! CEO Terry Semel.
story is HERE
But, does Semel take the relationship as seriously as Tequila?
A source told the New York Post: "Tila is great and totally fun. Court is having a good time with her, but it definitely isn't anything serious."
The lesborific couple put on a show for revelers at Los Angeles club Coco de Ville the other night when Tequila and Semel, got frisky and began humping each other like horny female bunnies. The Sapphic sisters were "giving each other lap dances and sneaking in kisses in the corner." Semel, fresh off her split from Band-Aid heiress Casey Johnson, is flaunting her reality-star fling.
So...who can possibly fill Tequila's shoes? Who is so attention starved and would be willing to cavort with both men and women in front of camera and crew? Who is enough of an exhibitionist to flaunt her goods for everyone to see in anticipation of attention and adoration?

Inside the Mind of Bette Midler

Bette Midler has blasted singers including Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera for not showing any "emotion" in their performances.
The musical legend - who is currently in Las Vegas completing her 'Showgirl Must Go On' residency - argues young stars need to put more depth into their shows.
She said: "They don't speak. They don't talk to their audience. They maysay, 'Hello, New York' or 'Hello, Las Vegas,' in the beginning, and 'Thank you' in between songs, but they don't talk. They don't tell stories or take the time to make a connection, build a rapport. There's no emotion."
The Divine Ms. M also blamed music video channel MTV for encouraging people to lip-synch to their songs when performing 'live'.
She added to the New York Daily News: "Video really did kill the radio star. After MTV came along, people were seeing their favourite singers in videos, and suddenly there was a certain vision of a song - how it should sound, how it should look. Then in concert, there was no room for improvisation - everyone wanted an exact replica."
