The wine epiphany for Dan Aykroyd occurred in a Los Angeles night club in the early 1980s. He was the opening act for his 'Saturday Night Live' buddy, Steve Martin. That night his Blue Brothers Band guitarist Steve Cropper opened a bottle of wine for him.
