Jamie Foxx has apologized to teen star Miley Cyrus for a radio routine in which he urged the 16-year-old to "make a sex tape and grow up."
When the incident was brought up on the "Tonight" show Tuesday, Foxx apologized and said: "I didn't mean it maliciously."
Foxx had started talking about Cyrus on Sirius satellite radio after someone brought up the singer's recent feud with Radiohead. Foxx said: "Who is Miley Cyrus? The one with all the gums? She needs to get a gum transplant!"

Miley Cyrus' protective father, Billy Ray, has given the pop star's "guy pal" Justin Gaston the seal of approval.
The 16-year-old nymphet has been linked to 20-year-old Gaston -- a former contestant on reality TV show "Nashville Star" which is hosted by Mr. Cyrus -- for several weeks.
All parties have denied Gaston is romancing the underage star, but he has won over Billy Ray.
"He actually reminds me a lot of myself when I was 20 years old and I was living and searching for the dream." says Billy Ray.

The 'Hannah Montana' star will turn 16 in November, and she has already started studying to get her license and a little more freedom from her strict mom and dad. Billy Ray and Tish have firmly decided that Miley will not get an expensive car to drive.

Miley, on the other hand, has fallen for a Porsche 911 Turbo - price tag $125,000. She even has met with a car salesman who deals in exotic cars.
According to a friend of the star, 'Miley is getting older now and wants to spend her money any way she wants. She is so confident that she'll be able to buy herself a Porsche when she turns 16 that she's already shopping for the car.'

Destiny Hope Cyrus has taken a step towards legally changing her name to the one we all know her by - Miley.
Leticia and Billy Ray, filed name change papers on March 14. Part of the process is that the Cyrus family make four public notices referring to the name change in order for it to become legal.
Today, a notice appeared in the Los Angeles Daily Journal (order # 1305084), announcing that a hearing making the name change official will take place on May 1.
