Colbert's Close Shave

Stephen Colbert reminds America it still has young men and women serving our nation in Iraq. He got loud applause from the troops when he poked fun at the fact that many of them have been deployed to Iraq multiple times.
"It must be nice here in Iraq because I understand some of you keep coming back again and again," he said during the taping of the first show on Sunday. "You've earned so many frequent flier miles, you've earned a free ticket to Afghanistan."
But the loudest roars came when his first guest, Gen. Ray Odierno, accepted a videotaped order from President Obama to shave Colbert's head. The president displays his sharp sense of humor while commending and honoring the troops.

Gullible Conservatives & the Art of Sarcasm

Stephen Colbert, the character and host of Comedy Central's " The Colbert Report," a right-wing blowhard on a one-man mission to reeducate the ignorant, is convincing enough that a recent Ohio State University study found that a majority of conservatives polled believed Colbert the man was one of them. The irony couldn't please him more.

According to a study from The Ohio State University, which proves, with math and stuff, that lots of conservatives seem to not understand the intrinsic, underlying joke of The Colbert Report.
A lot of conservatives are going to be pissed when they realize that Stephen Colbert's performance at the 2006 White House Correspondents' Dinner was not, in fact, an awkward and ineffective attempt to praise President George W. Bush, but actually a bitter and satiric criticism of his incompetence!

This is, hands down, the best Christmas special ever. It is so unlike all those blasphemous things that have passed as Christmas specials, on network TV in the past. Great songs; great guests; all around a great time. Guests included Elvis Costello, Feist, Toby Keith, John Legend, Willie Nelson and Jon Stewart.
This Stephen Colbert's Christmas Special, upholds the Judeo-Christian traditions, like no other show has done before AND it uses goats in ways that less imaginative minds could not fathom.
A great family treat, if your family enjoys the conservative traditions of Christmas like my family does. A must have. A must buy.

Colbert's DNA to be Shot into Space

Stephen Colbert continues to make late-night television space history. On "The Colbert Report" in May, he was the first host in late-night to interview an astronaut, Garrett Reisman, in space. Now, Colbert plans to save humanity when he has his DNA digitized and sent to the International Space Station (ISS) with famed game designer Richard Garriott.

"I am thrilled to have my DNA shot into space, as this brings me one step closer to my life-long dream of being the baby at the end of '2001'," said Colbert.
