Our pal Ted Nugent reminded me today that this year is the 30th anniversary of California Jam 2. March 18, 1978...he's dedicating his 2008 Summer Tour to it's memory...

Why do I bring this up? Because I was the fat guy sleeping in the back of a 1978 Chevrolet Vega at the speedway, along with 249,999 people and witnessed the 'Motor City Madman' swing onto the stage wearing nothing but a loincloth...
When you come from a state that has less than 300,000 people...well, let's just say, it was quite a show...
Since then I have seen 'THE NUGE' many times and I'm sure this summer will be no different...only, I'll be wearing my vintage CAL JAM 2 t-shirt...whoo hoo!
