Exclusive: Wayne Newton Health Issue

Wayne " Mr. Las Vegas" Newton has canceled his 2 week annual holiday show; it will be announced this morning. Wayne also canceled shows in Canada and on the East Coast earlier this month following his TV stint on 'Dancing with the Stars'. During that show he had a serious heart issue that required a special trip to a specialist in Texas. Mr. Newton was MIA at Robert Goulet's funeral last week which confirmed a major health problem as Wayne was best man at Goulet's wedding.

BROADWAY & VEGAS TO HONOR GOULET

Theaters on Broadway and others across the country will dim their lights at 8 p.m. eastern time tonight to honor of Robert Goulet, the legendary singer/actor who died Tuesday at age 73. Goulet's name will also be placed as the headliner on all the hotel marquees along Las Vegas Boulevard on Thursday night.
Goulet shot to stardom in 1960 when he played the role of Sir Lancelot in the Lerner & Loewe musical "Camelot".
He was a Tony Award winner and a star of film and television as well as a Las Vegas headliner.

Robert Goulet in critical condition

Singing legend Robert Goulet is in critical condition in Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and needs a lung transplant, it was announced Monday. Goulet, 73, has been hospitalized for 22 days in Las Vegas and Los Angeles with interstitial pulmonary fibrosis, which was described as "a rare but rapidly progressive and fatal condition."
