...the latter seems to have adopted the fashion sense of the former...

D.C. Madam Suicide Notes

TAMPA, Florida — The woman known as the "D.C. Madam" apologized to her mother and sister in suicide notes (above), saying she couldn't bear going to prison and saw killing herself as the only "exit strategy."
The notes were released by police Monday.

D.C. Madam Commits Suicide

Another scandal has rocked Washington -- the 'DC Madam' has died after committing suicide.
Police say Deborah Jeane Palfrey -- who allegedly ran an upscale call girl ring -- killed herself on Thursday at her mother's Florida home.
Palfrey was convicted on April 15th of money laundering, racketeering and using the mail for illegal purposes. She had yet to be sentenced.
