Mysterious Urine Shuts Down State Lab
Well the good old boys at the frankfort ky state laboratory shut that baby down after a discovery of a mysterious smelly liquid and reopened it friday after the liquid was identified as animal urine.
State police were investigating how the urine got into the office of a supervisor, who discovered it when he arrived at work Thursday morning.
The liquid had an "unusual odor," and the supervisor triggered a standard procedure for reacting to spills or other foreign substances at the lab, Deputy Health Commissioner Dr. Steve Davis said.
i'M PERSONALLY THINKIN THERE ARE ALOT OF STRANGE "LIQUIDS" IN THE LAB, THIS MUST HAPPEN ALL THE TIME...
Officials evacuated the more than 100 people who work in the lab building, which contains most of the state's laboratory facilities, from the Kentucky State Police forensics lab to the medical examiner's offices. Six people were decontaminated and a dozen were quarantined. No one showed any signs of ill health, lab spokeswoman Gwenda Bond said Friday.
