Yesterday members of the Argentine women's football team were the latest to be criticized after being photographed making the same crude impression of their Chinese counterparts.
Photographs of Argentine athletes making slit-eyed faces during the run up to the games in Beijing have highlighted the gulf between political correctness and the racial insensitivity prevalent in the Spanish speaking world.
