Paula Abdul admits her painkiller addiction in Ladies' Home Journal. Paula Abdul now admits this is the first time in 12 years that she is not dependent on medications. Paula went through her painkiller with draws at La Costa Resort and Spa, in Carlsbad, California. Despite many viewers believing Paul was on drugs during some American Idol episodes she is still denying that. She claims she was never under the influence of anything while judging an American Idol episode.
