In the age of Paris Hilton and Britney Spears, it's an accepted truism: Being attractive can be all you need to succeed.
But two researchers at the University of South Florida have conducted an experiment which may show the opposite, suggesting a random group of Republicans and independent voters asked to focus on former GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin's attractiveness was less likely to vote for the Republican ticket in November's elections.
