A PET beaver, a bare-breasted woman and a call to bonk longer all raised public ire in Australia in 2008, the Advertising Standards Bureau's (ASB) annual list of the most complained-about ads reveals.
Topping the list was a controversial ad for tampons and pads in which a young woman goes about her daily business - going to the beach, having lunch and getting a manicure - accompanied by an animated beaver.
The ad drew 185 of the 2350 complaints received by the advertising watchdog last year.
