The sexy librarian-looking governor from Alaska rode into town and made everyone stand up and pay attention. Yes, Alaska governor Sarah Palin has turned into a full-fledged celebrity.
While politics are the hot-topic right now as the country gears up for the presidential elections in November, a good many Americans have their eyes focused on something else: the eyeglasses that GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin wears.
The rimless eyeglasses were created by Japanese designer Kazuo Kawasaki and thanks to Palin's picture gracing the covers of countless magazines, the glasses are now all the rage. The glasses, combined with pulling her hair up, has given Palin the nickname of "sexy librarian."
According to the company that manufactures Palin's eyeglasses, the phones have been ringing off the hook since Palin gave her vice presidential acceptance speech. Many women out there apparently want the smart, sexy librarian look.
Celebrity News Service did a survey to find out what people thought of Palin's glasses. Should she keep them or get contacts? "I love the sexy librarian look on her, I really think she should keep the glasses," one idiot said.
