Shelby Lynne In Conversation about Cars

Grammy award winning singer/songwriter Shelby Lynne says she doesn't buy a car unless she has cash. "I like paying cash for my cars," she says. "You never get your money out of the vehicle. Ever. Ever, ever, ever."
Growing up in rural south Alabama, Lynne learned to drive on her dad's 1976 Ford pick up with a "three on the tree" gear shifter, when she could barely touch the clutch. Apparently, this was before her father shot and killed her mother and himself.
