Global Warming Fashion Forecast

SYDNEY - A warming climate in Australia over the past few years has forced designers to ditch traditional autumn and winter wear in favor of what they are calling “trans-seasonal” apparel — designed to be worn year round.
Fashion houses and department stores around the world face the prospect of more unsold heavy winter garments as summer weather stretches well into autumn. The heavy winter coat is not only out -- it may be a thing of the past in Australia as temperatures rise and summers lengthen due to global warming.
