Church Won’t Ban Britney After Gun Incident

The Bel Air Presbyterian Church on Mulholland Drive may have been dragged into the headlines when a church guard went all Billy the Kid on a paparazzo who was stalking Britney Spears and drew a gun on the hapless guy before he could draw his own camera, but the church’s pastor says it would never think about banning the recent rehab graduate despite her disruptive presence.

Although Britney is not a regular member of her church, Rev. Kim Dorr tells Radar that “we would never ban anybody from the church” when asked if this latest Britney- related stunt could make her persona non grata.

The guard, who is said to be a retired policeman who worked for the church, could have peppered that paparazzo with bullets and she would still be welcome to join the flock in prayer for the man’s soul. How very Christian.

Luckily for the photographer, who the guard accused of trying to run over a traffic cop, all he got was a pair of handcuffs and detention.
