"American Idol" exec Simon Cowell is teaming up with NBC on a nationwide search for the top variety and novelty acts.
Producers of the show, called "America's Got Talent," will be searching for groups, singers, dancers, animal acts, bizarre novelty acts, magicians, comedians and belly dancers of all ages.
