SauerKraut Ice Cream?

The American people like "elements" of the health care bill, declared WaPo columnist and ABC "This Week" roundtable contributor George Will.

Then he drifted into a sauerkraut ice cream metaphor. "I like sauerkraut and ice cream," he remarked on "This Week". "I don't like sauerkraut ice cream."

This is when Anita Dunn, President Obama's former communications director, called Will on making up such a ludicrous ice cream flavor. "I'm actually not sure you've ever tried sauerkraut ice cream," Dunn scolded, adding, "I'm not sure anyone ever has."

Host Jake Tapper chimed in: "It's quite scrumptious."

Just for future reference, strange ice cream flavors that definitely exist include: garlic, Stilton cheese, licorice, avocado and candied bacon. There is a Sauerkraut Festival in Waynesville, Ohio (according to Ohio Traveler Magazine) that purports to serve sauerkraut ice cream.
