Gonzo Board Game
The late Dr. Hunter S. Thompson’s most enduring work is getting a new lease on life, courtesy of Los Angeles-based “freelance designer” Jonathan Baldwin’s Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas: The Board Game. The one-of-a-kind piece recreates the trip from Baker to Barstow and into the main nerve of the American Dream with activities, challenges and – of course – illicit substances.
The whole she-bang comes packaged in a suitcase that very clearly recalls the “serious drug collection” that precipitates the events of both the 1972 novel/memoir and director Terry Gilliam’s 1998 film adaptation. And it’ll only run you thirty-five hundred bucks.
