Presidential Junket to Las Vegas

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is attracting big-name political and musical talent for a May 26 fundraising event in Las Vegas, the Las Vegas Sun reports.
President Obama will headline the Caesars Palace gathering; Bette Midler and Sheryl Crow will perform.
The $2,400-a-head event is dubbed "The Good Fight: A Tribute to Nevada's Senator Harry Reid," reminding us that the Democrat was a boxer before entering politics. Reid, a GOP target, is up for re-election next year.

Many accuse the president of hypocrisy saying he was AGAINST all those frivolous corporate trips to Las Vegas...
It's a fundraiser people! It's hardly the same as a huge corporate bank that just received a huge sum of money from the government (essentially tax payer dollars) because the climate of corporate greed and corruption without any regulation then spending a large chunk of that money to reward already highly salaried employees (enough to fill a convention center) with an all expense paid jaunt to Vegas. That's arrogance ...that's despicable.
Had those same complainers argued that campaign fund raising needs reform we'd be more likely to agree...
