Vision vs. Fear

This week many Americans took to the streets and exercised their rights, complaining about something they claim to understand, but seem to be seduced by political opportunists who seem to lack vision and are hell bent on intolerance and put dollars before people...
It is somewhat comforting to know our President is continuing his efforts to move the country forward...let's work together and bring the vision to reality.
President Obama unveiled his administration's blueprint for a new national network of high-speed passenger rail lines Thursday, saying such an investment is necessary to reduce traffic congestion, cut dependence on foreign oil and improve the environment.
The president's plan identifies 10 potential high-speed intercity corridors for federal funding, including California, the Pacific Northwest, the Midwest, the Southeast, the Gulf Coast, Pennsylvania, Florida, New York and New England.

AND...President Barack Obama promised to eliminate dozens of government programs that have been shown to be "wasteful or ineffective".
"There will be no sacred cows, and no pet projects. All across America, families are making hard choices, and it's time their government did the same," Mr. Obama said in his weekly radio and video address.
