Today she is all sinew, stretched skin and bottle-blonde hair. But 30 years ago, Madonna was ... well, just like Lourdes.
The resemblance between mother and daughter is even more striking than usual in the 1979 picture above, taken when Madonna, now 50, was making a living as a dancer.
Her thick brown hair, strong brows and sleepy eyes have all been passed on to Lourdes, now 12.
