If you've ever slow-danced at a wedding or ponied up to a honky-tonk, chances are you've heard Spooner Oldham.
Oldham is the keyboardist who played on soul classics like Percy Sledge's "When a Man Loves a Woman," Wilson Pickett's "Mustang Sally" and Aretha Franklin's "I Never Loved a Man (The Way I Love You)."
Now after more than 50 years in the music business, Oldham has received his due recognition.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inducted Oldham, 65, in the sideman category on Saturday night at a ceremony in Cleveland.
