Many do not realize that after Easter, shelters are flooded with recently-returned rabbits.
Each year, veterinarians see rabbits with seriously injured spines, after being dropped by a child. Also, many are abandoned or neglected.
"If you don't want it, find a good home. Don't just let it go, these aren't wild animals. They won't survive in the wild."
