Nuns and Priests Can't Kick Sex Habit

A FORMER nun has fled a convent in the south Indian state of Kerala after what she says was 30 years of sex and bullying.
Sister Jesme has just penned her autobiography, Amen, which pours cold water on the idea that celibacy is the norm in the Roman Catholic church.
The book implies that Priests and Nuns flout the rules on celibacy by having sex with each other and that often young nuns are forced into it. She claims that priests were forcing novices to have sex with them and that there were secret homosexual relationships among the nuns.
One nun told her that she preferred lesbian relationships because they ruled out the possibility of pregnancy. Jesme said she was forced into such a relationship.
