The Art of Footsies

Walter Martin and Paloma Muñoz have been collaborating since 1993 to produce some excellent examples of sassy sculpture for private collections as well as public art. Their shoe/feet combinations are off-putting, and indeed, a lot of their work presents unexpected anatomical reminders or intrusions. But it is their sense of humor that pushes forward the twists, and it is difficult to keep the corner's of one's mouth from rising up in appreciation.
