Belittling Barack

At last night's presidential debate in Nashville, Republican presidential candidate, John McCain punctuates a contrast between himself and opponent Barack Obama during a discussion about energy, by referring to him as "that one," while once again not looking in his opponent's direction (merely jabbing a finger across his chest). more HERE
When McCain uses dehumanizing phrases like "that one" to refer to Barack Obama, he is implementing long-standing military techniques for dehumanizing one's opponent during wartime.
