Pulling her Leg?

Long legged women are more likely to develop deadly melanoma, a study by Australian scientists has found. They found that the tallest one-quarter of individuals in the study were 30 per cent more likely to have melanoma than shorter women. Other studies have suggested that taller women are also more likely to develop breast and colon cancer.

Researchers from the University of Bristol have reported that long legs protect you from killer diseases. Studies released this year show that long legs — legs longer than the torso or upper body — lower risk of heart disease, stroke, type-2 diabetes in both sexes, with leggy women having the added advantage of lower risk of Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
