It's My Party

The Libertarian Party on Sunday picked former Republican Representative Bob Barr to be its presidential candidate after six rounds of balloting.
Fourteen candidates ran for the nomination. Former Senator and Democratic presidential candidate Mike Gravel was defeated in the fourth round.
Barr left the GOP in 2006 over what he called bloated spending and civil liberties intrusions by the Bush administration.
