President George W. Bush bade farewell to his antagonists in the press at the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner with a comic routine that was much funnier than his tenure in office.
Noticing "Baywatch" actress Pamela Anderson and former presidential candidate and Morman cult member Mitt Romney in the audience, the president noted: "Pamela Anderson and Mitt Romney in the same room. Isn't that one of the signs of the apocalypse?"
Anderson joked afterwards that she had "...thought this was the 'White Trash Correspondents' Dinner.' "
