For Paris Hilton, the path to enlightenment is fraught with speed bumps, from shiny stripper poles to random saliva swaps. Still, the tireless self-promoter made a big production out of embarking on a New Age journey Saturday in Los Angeles with her very own spiritual guide.
Ms. Hilton spent a part of her weekend with a bearded guru, attired in saffron robes with his long flowing graying hair left open, supposedly a Buddhist monk.

It turns out that Hilton's guru is actually a Hollywood actor named Maxie Santillan and has starred in films and TV shows including My Name is Earl and Pirates of the Caribbean...his profile on MySpace states, "Burbank can kiss my ass."
