PRINCETON BY THE SEA, California -- -- Following an insane Final Heat on a truly classic Mavericks Contest Day, Greg Long (top) wins the 2008 Mavericks Surf Contest.
Two dozen surfers showed up for the 'Mavericks' contest just south of San Francisco to challenge one of the world's most dangerous breaks.
