The Fabulous Moolah Is Dead
Mary Lillian Ellison, whose flying drop kicks, flying head scissors and hair-pulling “flying mare” body slams brought her renown as the professional wrestler the Fabulous Moolah, died Friday in Lexington, S.C., near her home in Columbia. She was 84.
The funeral service for the legendary wrestler is expected to draw stars of the squared circle from past and present.

One of the women she 'mentored' was Katie (Diamond Lil) Glass, 63, who was a professional midget wrestler for 25 years. "She just taught me the basics, the holds, how to get someone down... "She's a very nice lady. I'm gonna miss her dearly."
'Diamond Lil' was Moolah's very close 'friend'; she is pictured below.
