Wu-Tang Meets the Beatles

Sampling may be one of the biggest trends to take effect in the decades since the Beatles stopped making music, but the fab four have never allowed so much as a single second of their songs to be used - until today! The online hipster music publication Pitchfork Media is reporting that the band has allowed seminal rap group Wu-Tang Clan to sample "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" for their forthcoming album 8 Diagrams, thus making Wu the first act in entertainment to license anything from the Fab Four. Sounds like we've got yet another reason to get excited about 8 Diagrams - as if a new Wu-Tang album wasn't reason enough on its own!
