Under the radar, and everything else...
The pint-sized pop on the TLC reality show "Little People, Big World" has been hiding a pretty big secret -- he was busted for DUI in June.
According to the Washington County Sheriff's Office, 45-year-old Matthew Roloff was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants, around midnight on June 19 after cops claim that Roloff's van had been swerving on the road.
Roloff, who then failed a field sobriety test, was taken to Washington County Jail, where he was cited and released.
The June incident wasn't the first time Roloff has been linked to a driving under the influence charge. In 2003, Roloff had a DUI charge dismissed after he completed an alcohol diversion program.
“Little People, Big World” is a reality television show that focuses mostly on the lives of Roloff, his wife and his son, all but one of whom are dwarfs.Roloff and his family live on a farm in Helvetia. The Roloffs were most recently in the news last fall when their 9-year-old son Jacob, was seriously injured by the 2,000-pound concrete counterweight of a 25-foot-high medieval catapult that misfired while he was loading it with pumpkins.. Apparently the device had not passed pumpkin catapult safety inspections required in Washington State.
