Well , it was back in July 2005 that I remember seeing this little item, Tampa police with nothing better to do , ran a STING operation in 5 strip joints, those would be: Bare Assets, Lollipops, Extasy, Brass Flamingo, and Calendar Girls located along good old US Highway 19 in Florida.

U.S. 19 doesn't even go through the county where Tampa is located (Hillsborough). It passes through Pinellas County (St. Petersburg & Clearwater) on the western side of Tampa Bay. The clubs mentioned are on 19 in Pasco County. That makes it very doubtful that police agencies from Tampa/Hillsborough County were even involved.
And take a look at those mugshots on The Smoking Gun. Handmade, handwritten placards, boxes visible in the background, crappy paint job on the background, and the pictures are obviously not taken at the same spot. Several of the placards have information that is written in barely readable cursive instead of printing.
I really doubt this is legitimate.
